NETS is a collaborative practice initiated in 2022 by a group of architects, landscape architects and urban designers. While teaching and practicing in these different fields across Switzerland, we felt the urge to blur boundaries between disciplines and scales, and to develop a transversal and integrated research and design method.
The group emerged from a series of fruitful collaborations where landscape and territory were placed at the core of our work. This strategy is already bearing fruits: since 2022, we have been engaged in a remarkable series of large-scale public projects, commissions, and studies, proving this approach to be enriching not only for us but also for public entities.
NETS suggests a shift of scale, a wider look at the world that surrounds us. NETS launches a process of questioning through experimentation, research, design, and dialogue, in order to redefine the role of those involved in the planning and transformation of the built environment.
